Among those who withstood the Gleyks were a people called the Blonians. Most of them lived in the lands of the east – hiding from gleyk scavengers and gathering their strength for the war to come. Although Bremian myths had hinted to their presence Blonians had not yet been encountered by Novine explorers – and with reason. Like the Gleyks Blonians were among the ancient people – the reminiscence of a long forgotten past. Although little is known of blonian origins they are said to be pilgrims like the Novines – travellers from another world as were many others – drawn to the new world like moths to a candle. Why they had come remains a mystery yet it seemed that fate and coincidence had over time linked many strange people together as pioneers in a new world. Like the others this majestic civilization had long shun the curious Novines and kept their cities a secret – waiting and preparing for the Old Ones to awake. Blonians look very much alike Novines but their skin is brown-greenish, hairless and smooth. Myths claim they came from a home beneath the sea before they emerged in the new world to fight the six-legged and that they were somehow akin to the fabled Old Ones.
