Dreaming Wheel

The Dreaming Wheel is a motley group of seers, mystics, artists, musicians and actors all sharing a common worship of life, beauty and art. Although the wheel is neither very organised or hold much political power in the senate they are one of the most numerous guild in the Concordia, and their members come from all parts of society counting most known races. Shrouded in mystery the Dreaming Wheel is known for it’s use of secret herbs and drugs to gain insight and visions through dreaming rituals performed by their priest leaders. Founded on native religions and shamanism The Wheel is lead by priests called Dreamwalkers. Recognized in their dark blue robes and painted faces the Dreamwalkers are spiritual poets and artists known for both their fine works of art and spirit hymns.

Dreamwalkers are famous as powerful healers, exorcists, seers and their experience often puts them in the role as mediators and diplomats. Some say that the Order of the Tome leads the libraries and temples, but the Dreamwalkers lead the people. The Dreaming Wheel does not worship order and science – they are spiritual people believing in free will, visions and divine inspiration rather than laws and traditions. Because of their ties with common people The Wheel often accepts natives and outcasts into their ranks and although it was originally formed as a spiritual society a large group of followers have gradually formed a subclass known as Pishas.

Pishas are travelling actors, dancers, musicians and harlots who have formed a society of their own. Most of them are travelling around the world in small clans called Sunhars where they live in Urtas or tent camps outside the cities. Although many of the guilds criticize their free way of life Pishas are known for their excellent skills of entertainment and the travelling dancers, musicians, actors and harlots are welcomed by the Radiant Scimitar who allow them to perform in their Ronges. Among the Pishas are also the infamous Nomol shape shifters who are not only famous for their service as prostitutes, but they are often recruited by wealthy merchants and nobles as master spies and assassins.
