Gjurons > Failed Diplomacy
A sluggish race of mutated ilk the Gjurons are truly hideous to behold. Changed through centuries of genetic experiments Gjurons come in many shapes. Some are clawed warriors with crested faces, while others take shape of serpentine horrors. Sworn enemies of the Concordia the Gjuron empire became the bane of its ally, the Regno who succomb to their cruel warfare.

GjuronIn the early years diplomats sought to gain a friendly contact with the Gjurons. It failed, and members of the Senate are still puzzled as to why the Gjurons act with such hostility against the free people. It is known that they nourish a strong hatred for the Blonians with whom they have been at war for several thousand years, and myths claim their deep hatred for each other can be traced back to a shared past in some distant home world. Radical parties within the Senate even blame the arrogant Blonians for dragging the Concordia into their own conflict sabotaging early diplomatic contacts to provoke the Slug Fiends into an open war. Recently the crisis has accelerated as Gjuron emissaries have formed a brittle alliance with the Sar Empire to the west, and rumours have it that even the insidious Gleyks have joined what is now known as The Hiphod, a union bent on destroying the Concordia.
