Novines
Since humans found their way into Cailorubia they have been known as Novines – the new people. Novines are daring explorers, cunning craftsmen and above all – eager conquerors of the new world claiming they rule one third of it after merely 1000 years of diplomacy, wars and grim bargains.
 Once a leading civilization in the new world the Novines are now but a broken people, a weaker brother to the mighty Khalens, an underdog in a new modern world ruled not by proud emperors but by the Senate of Askuhir. After the Scarab Wars the Novine empire known as the Regno was among the fastest growing nations under the red skies. Leaving a life as thralls under the Gleyk usurpers the Novines rose as mighty conquerors absorbing one neighbour after the other in their quest to rule the known world. They became explorers, clever merchants and ingenuous craftsmen building a network of paved roads, strong castles, blooming cities and splendid churches – a new world order and, in their own eyes, the bringer of illumination and peace to a dark world of mindless pagans.
