About Me
My name is Axel Ryberg. I was born 1975 in Denmark where I live today. Having grown up in a family of artists (both my mother and father paint) writing and painting has always been a major part of my life. My interest in Fantasy literature and Rpg started at an early age when I discovered the Fighting Fantasy books in school. I soon began to write stories of my own and at age 15 I made my first attempt with the publishers. Receiving some nice feedback I was kindly told I was a bit too young and that my books needed some more work.

Encouraged by the reply I kept on writing and when I was later introduced to the world of role-playing by some friends in high school my focus turned to the making of a fantasy universe. Years went by and the project grew, I was now designing my own Rpg system and after a long line of abandoned ideas I came up with Redskies. Until this point I had mostly kept my work to myself, but in my late twenties I started testing the new project on some friends.

We had a lot of fun, but I soon learned that the road to completing a full scale Rpg system was long and hard. My dear testers will probably remember how we tried out some ideas that didn’t work and the week after I’d return to my GM screen with a new rulebook, and the week after…another 100+ pages rewritten. Thanks to some invaluable feedback and thorough testing I’ve now reached a point where things begin to look solid. At the moment I am wrapping up the source book and getting ready for some final testing, and then…hopefully soon, it’s off to see some publishers.

Here is a list of the people I would like to thank for their help and support during the making of Redskies. My project began some ten years back and throughout the last eight years we have spent many hours together testing both conceptual ideas and above all the technical part of the project, the game rules. I owe you guys a lot for being there with me, working with the ideas and helping me shape Redskies to what it is now.
