Cuivings > Enim-Irmewa
The short Cuivings are wanderers by nature. Known for their long snout-like nose and tapering ears cuivings can be found all across the Avoa. This people does not know the meaning of city but prefer to roam the jungles following what they call The Winding Ways as nomadic hunters and gatherers.
Cuivings are a very spiritual people, they completely shun the modern world with all its industry, science and materialistic values. They believe that a spirit should be free of earthly possessions which is why they move from camp to camp their entire lives. Individuals mean little to Cuivings, who see themselves as a whole, a sacred spirit family, the Enim-Irmewa. Cuivings believe all creatures have an immortal spirit and that spirit travel together in families so that each ancestor is reborn into his own Enim-Irmewa. Because of this a Cuivings can never give his true friendship to a person or creature not included in his tribe, which is probably one of the main reasons why Novine missionaries and explorers have had such a hard time communicating with Cuivings.
Our courage lies not in mighty battles but in straying from the path of the beast that was revealed to our ancestors. Instead we became the children of the forest and the people of drassewa.
