Races > The Building People
Known for their love of progress, culture and trade the Building People is typically represented by Asfarians, Blonians, Khalens and Novines. Despite their many differences all of them have one thing in common – they are all Pilgrims, travellers from other worlds, who have found their way to Cailorubia through a strange science now forgotten by most civilizations. Most of the Building People are allied with the Concordia against their common enemy, the Gleyks, Gjurons and Sar-Khalens.

Asfarians
The four-armed children of Novine and Khalen love-affairs are
the people of tomorrow, say some. Blackened in their purple skin
by the taint of an ancient curse the Asfar people are known to
be passionate lovers, furious opponents and sly merchants.
Few people can withstand their seductive voice and the gaze of
their deep blue eyes.
Blonians
The olive-skinned Blonians are among the firstborn people,
sons of the stars and world travellers, heirs of untold secrets
from the dawn of time. Known for their love of knowledge and
spiritual insight the Blonians are a secretive people lead by Middlers
and conservative elders who prefer to keep their people well
away from the troubles of the world.
Divaluans
These graceful half-breeds are mystic creatures sharing in
their blood many aspects that grant them both benevolent
powers of healing as well as an eerie bond with the insect world.
Myths say that not only do the Divaluans share blood with Blonians
and Novines, but also the ancient strength of the Meia and
the Gleyks.
Khalens
Khalens differ only from Novines by their golden
bronze-like skin, copper-red curly hair and yellow eyes.
They live near the great rift where coastal trade has turned
them into a prosperous and wealthy nation. They founded
the great Concordia of peace yet behind order lurks an untamed
chaos from the past seeking to consume them.
Novines
Since humans found their way into Cailorubia they
have been known as Novines – the new people.
Novines are daring explorers, cunning craftsmen and
above all – eager conquerors of the new world claiming
they rule one third of it after merely 1000 years of diplomacy,
wars and grim bargains.
