Features

Features are non-numeric extensions to your Abilities, Skills and Careers. There are numerous Features in Redskies and their purpose is to allow you to tailor your Character as you like giving him/her special abilities like blacksmithing, riding and literature. Each Ability has a series of Features associated with it allowing you to tailor your own strength and weakness. Natures and Flairs are beneficial Features representing innate strengths. Both are free, but have no Ranks like other Features. Flairs illustrate minor advantages, but Natures will grow in strength as you increase your Abilities. You may pick a total of 3 Natures and 3 Flairs from any Ability you wish.

Flaws represent weaknesses either innate or acquired as part of your Character’s background. Choosing Flaws for your Character let’s you begin with a handicap, and to compensate for this you will gain a number of free XP depending on the impact of your Flaw. Free XP can be spend on Abilities, Skills, Paths or Features. You can pick a total of 3 Flaws from any Ability. Other Features include Talents, which are linked to your Skills and unlocked once you train a Skill, and Arts which are associated with Careers and act as unique powers for each Career.
