There are three Basic Rogue Careers you can choose from. To access either one of them requires 5 or more Class Levels as a Rogue. That is 5 Levels as any available Rogue Career.

Thief
Basic Rogue
A Thief is a master of stealth, picking pockets and locks. He is cautious, subtle and discrete preferring to perform his deeds at night following a carefully planned scheme to avoid confrontations. The strength of a Thief lies not in his combat skills, but in his ability to slip unnoticed past guards, blend in with crowds and use his streetwise to trick and charm unsuspecting victims. Thieves, burglars and pickpockets can be found in almost any town throughout the known world and in some major cities they are known to form secretive guilds or gangs to coordinate heists and share loot.

Deadmaker
Basic Rogue, Warrior Class Entry
Widely known as murderers and hired thugs the Deadmakers are in fact organized undertakers, a guild whose job is to collect dead bodies off the streets and bury them. Rivalled by members of the Grinder and Flayer Guilds the Deadmakers prowl the streets at night making sure no corpse stays untouched. This dead cult is lead by Tojah Prophets who take care of burial rites, embalming and administrate the city cemeteries. The Deadmakers have earned their name both because they regularly work as hired thugs, but mostly because of their role as public executioners in service of the Radiant Scimitar.

Viper Spy
Basic Rogue, Scholar Class Entry
Members of the dreaded Heph Seis, a secret network of spies working for The Radiant Scimitar the Viper Spies are shun and mistrusted by others. Despite their ill reputation Viper Spies are excellent agents forming the core of secret intelligence to the Concordia. Their main task is to track down rebels and collaborators of the Hidden Dawn
Movement, expose Gleyk agents and intercept Gjuron attack plans. Gifted with some ancient power or secret Viper Spies are often ahead of their adversaries lending strength, guile and chameleon-like stealth from their serpent god,
a secret they guard well and eagerly.
