There are three Basic Ranger Careers you can choose from. To access either one of them requires 5 or more Class Levels as a Ranger. That is 5 Levels as any available Ranger Career.
 Tusk Hunter
Basic Ranger
Tusk Hunters are among the toughest breed in the wilderness devoting their lives to track and hunt down the mighty beasts that roam the far places of the world. Armed with arrows, macabre traps and trained Bloodcat the Tusk Hunter makes a living from the pelts, tusks and trophies he can gather from the most dangerous beasts in the wild. Hardened by his many encounters with fierce beasts the Tusk Hunter is also a formidable fighter using his spear with deadly precision. Tusk Hunters often travel with Wilders with whom they trade and share territory as well as supplies.
 Drone Rider
Basic Ranger, Warrior Class Entry
Scouting the harsh wastelands of west Asdratis for Sar-Khalen marauders the Drone Riders play an important role in keeping the borders of the Concordia safe. Somewhat unorthodox in their taste of allies the Drone Riders train giant Auduons and Humwings to aid them in battle, and are often shun by others who accuse them of being in league with Gleyks. Despite their motley reputation Drone Riders are cunning and useful scouts in service of the Radiant Scimitar who often send them out on reconnaissance missions or use them for tactic ambush attacks.
 Water Fiend
Basic Ranger, Rogue Class Entry
Deep below the unruly waters of the Inland Sea is a hidden community of pirates, a scattered network of sea scoundrels who prey on merchant ships from their secret dens below the sea. Some of them even venture up the rivers of Asdratis or Hiphendria to attack the river trade. Cast out by the Concordia most pirates bear the Black Mark and have sought alliance with the Gjuron pirate empire. This grim league allows them not only to seek refuge in strange underwater cities held safe by Gjuron science, but also to indulge in weird arts including genetic mutations and many tempting powers making them feared all across the seas.
